Brain Health
The touchstone of brain health is your ability to function well in daily life. This includes making wise decisions, interacting successfully with others, and enjoying an emotional balance. These functions demand the capacity to remember, comprehend and learn; process information, events, and people; think strategically, and be innovative in solving problems. These functions require a synchronized brain, one in which neuron networks are working harmoniously to regulate mood, behavior, attention, sleep, and learning.

Our approach
The Sleep and Brain team employs neuromodulation utilizing neurostimulation, hyperbaric oxygen, medications, surgery, hormone therapy, and lifestyle changes to address brain health concerns. Over time, parts of the brain can become depressed, while other parts can become excited. A dysregulated brain disrupts optimal functioning and causes impairment such as depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder. A brain map helps identify the areas of imbalance. Personalized neuromodulation can rectify the imbalances with targeted stimulation of the underactive brain areas and inhibition of the overactive brain areas.
